Phase One- Feasibility
FirstVPN engineers examine your existing network and deliver a request for proposal, RFP. We guide you
through the design process and submit the RFP to the vendors you select. At the conclusion of phase one,
we also provide a detailed financial analysis that will show a tangible return on investment. If you elect
to proceed, we design a pilot-testing plan.
Phase Two- Testing
Pilot testing is a crucial step in verifying the technical operation of a VPN, while it also aids the
process of down-selecting between multiple vendors. FirstVPN adds value throughout the pilot by designing
test criteria and certifying test results, independent of vendor bias. We finalize the design and help
negotiate agreements with the winning provider, while at the same time, we refine the business case for
your VPN and gain consensus to proceed with a rollout.
Phase Three- Deployment
A complex rollout of network and end-user devices often requires short-term, highly specialized
resources. Geographic obstacles can be significant, whether domestic or multi-national. FirstVPN provides
a complete team including installers, engineers, and project managers. We partner with several
multi-nationals to bring you a least-cost implementation with global reach. We can complete the
installation with bonded performance guarantees and also help you negotiate guaranteed service level
agreements with your SP.
Phase Four- Training and Support
We can train your end-users and your technical staff. We are designing generalized and vendor-specific
curricula for both instructor and computer based delivery. We have also partnered with a major VPN
manufacturer to develop technical certification and testing programs surrounding their products.
Phase Five- Ongoing Operation and Management
If you require, FirstVPN can maintain and operate part or all of your VPN. We provide managed services
such as device monitoring, warranty and hot-spare programs, end-user support, and international 24x7 rapid
responses. We will personalize a plan to suit your requirements.
